About Me

My career has spanned coast-to-coast serving in nearly every capacity as a major market broadcaster. In the early years I was a top 40 disc jockey on the east coast, later a radio personality in San Francisco.

I continued my education in communications, earning a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Radio & Television.

I have served in a variety of capacities as program producer and production engineer for some of the most popular stations in the San Francisco market including KSFO, KNBR and KFRC.

In 1989, I changed my focus and became an Associate Professor of Broadcast and Electronic Media at the College of San Mateo.

Over the last decade, I have held the position of General Manager of KCEA Radio, the San Francisco Bay Area’s only Big Band & Swing music station. Give a listen to my program, "Night Train", on Thursday and Saturday evenings at 7:00 P.M. on KCEA-FM.

Presently, I am Syndication Production Manager for "Your Financial Life". YFL is a nationally syndicated weekly one-hour radio program.

When not in pursuit of my passion for big band music or radio production, I enjoy photography, web site design, and never miss an opportunity to engage in my favorite pass time, baseball.

On the personal side, I have two wonderful sons and four beautiful grandsons aged one year to almost nine years.
